Meeting and Cultural Centre of the German School Nairobi

The Meeting and Cultural Centre of the German School in Nairobi is a meeting point for the promotion of German language and culture in Kenya. It serves as intercultural forum for a German-African educational exchange, and was established in 2007 as a Resource Centre under the umbrella of the PASCH Initiative.

With our Meeting and Cultural Centre, we would like to reach out to a large audience of different age groups from our host country Kenya, as well as from the German-speaking communities based in the country.

With this aim, we organise and conceptualise:

- Cultural events (e.g. musicals, fairy tale performances)

- Film evenings

- Exhibitions on various topics (e.g. nature, art)

- Book readings

- Workshops (especially in Science subjects)

- Language courses for teachers and students of our Kenyan partner school.

We would be pleased to avail the centre for external workshop and further training events. The Computer Room, with its 25 computers can also be made available upon registration.
